Aman Banal worked for more than 12 years in financial services and technology, handled various responsibilities in Different Security Domains (Security Engineering, Incident Response, Threat Detection, Cloud Security, Application Security).

I believe in continuously learning and educating myself
about the ever-evolving technology and security
surrounding it. I do not see myself doing anything other
than working my way into this space and keeping current.
Moreover, sharing knowledge also gives me enough
pleasure to provide insights to others from my experience
to help out security professionals or those who want to
start a career in cybersecurity.

After completing my bachelor's in Electronics and
Communications from Jaypee University, India.
Having no idea what I wanted to do next, and fortunately enough, Accenture (India) hired me and randomly put me in a 24/7 SOC as a SOC Analyst.

After spending close to 3 years, I came to the US in 2017 for my master's in Cybersecurity from Northeastern University, Boston, and got the opportunity to expand my knowledge and meet some amazing talents who have been pioneers in the security industry.

After which I moved to NYC and worked in various Financial banks and services like Morgan Stanley, Simon Markets, iCapital and currently working at AWS.

Even though I hold various certifications: CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, AWS Solution Architect, and SANS GCIA, but continuously work on gaining more knowledge. In my free time, I enjoy lifting weights, anything that takes me outdoors.
